Tatweer supports corporate meet
Tatweer Infrastructure Company, amajor private shareholder company, will provide platinum sponsorship for the ‘ Corporate Governance ’ conference, scheduled on September 13 - 14 at the Intercontinental
Hotel, It was announced yesterday. The conference aims to raise awareness about the importance of corporate governace in the financial sector. Tatweer‘s chief of business development Essa abdulla Al Kubaisi 9 pictured 0 Said his company, a new Qatar infrastructure company,has a unique approach to business practice and development in the Gulf business world.
Conference organiser Micromedia Qatar’s CEO Sheik Jassim bin Ahmad bin Khalifa al-Thani, said that HE the minister of Finance and the Acting Minister of Economy and Commerce, Yousef Hussein Kamal, will deliver the opening speach.
The conference is being organised by the department of financial and economic organisations in the Ministry of Economyand Commerce in co-operations with the qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
International speakers include experts from the international Fund Corporation. The Center for International Private Enterprises, the Organisation for Ecomic Cooperation and Development, The World Forum for Corporate Governence, and the Arab monetary Fund. - staff reporter.
